How to Choose a Market and Read Odds

Example 1 — The same value in three formats:
Team A to win, bet ৳1,000: Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200
If you win, you get back ৳3,000 (profit ৳2,000 + original stake ৳1,000); if you lose, ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Odds on a favourite:
Team B to win: Decimal 1.50 = Fractional 1/2 = American -200 (minus odds show how much you need to bet to win ৳100).
On a ৳1,000 bet you get back ৳1,500 (profit ৳500).
The Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on a market automatically adds it to the bet slip. Enter your stake in the slip and see the potential return. A bet with just one selection is a single bet.
Adding multiple selections creates a multi bet (or accumulator). In a multi bet, the odds of all selections are multiplied, so the potential return is higher — but if any one selection loses, the entire bet is lost.
One bet, one match
In a cricket match, Team A's odds are 2.10 and Team B's are 1.75. Placing ৳500 on Team B returns ৳875 if Team B wins (profit ৳375); if Team A wins, you lose ৳500.
Three selections combined
Three selections with odds of 1.60, 1.70, 1.80 respectively. Combined odds: 1.60 × 1.70 × 1.80 ≈ 4.90. On a ৳100 bet, if all three selections are correct you get back ৳490; if even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Betting Exchange — Back and Lay:
BACKing Team A at decimal 2.00: on a ৳1,000 bet, if Team A wins you make ৳1,000 profit (before commission); if they don't win, you lose ৳1,000.
LAYing Team A: against a bettor's ৳1,000 stake, your liability is ৳1,000 (৳1,000 × 1.00); if Team A does not win, you receive ৳1,000 (before commission); if Team A wins, you pay out ৳1,000.
